Luma L Through-Floor Lift
No shaft, no-pit and a larger cabin
The Savaria Luma L features a larger cabin than our standard Luma lift, making it well-suited for use with many styles of mobility devices. If you’re looking to skip the stairs, this two-stop personal home lift features luxury details such as automatic ambient lighting, fully enclosed acrylic cabin and hidden cables. The shaftless, no-pit design makes the Luma lift an easy installation of only 1 to 2 days and ideal for installation in an existing home.

Our newest through-floor lift got an expansionThe Savaria Luma L lift features a wider 32 ½" clear door opening, with a larger 31 ½" by 47 ¼" cabin, making it suitable for mobility devices such as walkers, rollators and slim-line wheelchairs*. The sloped threshold creates easy entry and reduces tripping hazards. Even with the expanded cabin, the Luma L takes only about an 46" x 52" footprint in your floorplan making it flexible for placement.

Aging-in-place does not mean giving up thoughtful design and good looks. The Luma L lift was engineered for simplicity of function with a reliable and quiet winding drum drive. The cabin features crystal clear acrylic panels, beautiful, recessed lighting, and sleek white powder-coated finish. Whether you use a mobility device or just want a little more space in the cabin, the Luma L lift is an elegant solution to skip the stairs.
Options
Straight-through access
Configure your Luma L with a second door to create access at the front and back of the cab.
Power door
Add the convenience of a power door operator to your Luma L lift. Simply swipe to open the door—no need to manually unlock or pull it open. When the lift arrives safely at the landing, the door opens automatically for an easy exit.
Folding seat
If you don’t use the Luma L lift with a mobility device, you can add an optional flip-up seat with 220 lb capacity.

Luma L Lift Features
The cabin features a ventilation fan to provide air flow and comfort.
Recessed LED lighting and illuminated operating buttons provide good visibility for use at night as well as an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
The full clear acrylic door includes a full width handrail for support.
You will find an LCD display panel inside the cabin to alert the user to any faults such as “door open”.
Large, illuminated up and down buttons inside the cabin work on constant pressure, also known as "push-to-run”.
The Savaria One Touch Alert button provides fast two-way communications in case of emergency. Learn more about One Touch Alert.
An emergency stop button also gives the user full control.
A proximity sensor automatically unlocks the door when you are ready to enter the lift.
An optional seat that folds away neatly when not in use.
The Luma lift is finished in white powder coat paint, with silver-gray accent panel inside the cab and woodgrain style non-skid floor covering. A sloped threshold makes it easy to get in and out of the lift.
Two radio-frequency (RF) remote controls are also included so you can summon the lift when you are on the second or first level without getting into the cabin.
Mobility-device-ready
The Luma L features a 47 ¼" cab, longer than our standard model, providing additional space to accommodate many styles of mobility devices. A wider 32 ½” clear door opening makes entering and exiting easier. For added convenience, an optional second door allows for straight-through access. Always check the dimensions of your mobility device to ensure a suitable fit.
Installs in 1-2 days
The Luma lift is delivered to your local dealer semi-assembled, along with a ceiling/floor trim liner. This makes for fast installation of often only 1 day. Prior to installation, your dealer or local contractor completes the site preparation work including cutting the ceiling/floor with reinforcement as needed, and providing a standard power outlet, usually in the floor cut-out area.
