Savaria Factory Finishes

Savaria offers a great range of factory finishes for your home elevator cab. Use our cab configurator to simulate the look of your chosen combinations including cab walls, fixtures, cab gates and landing doors. The Savaria Eclipse, Infinity and Zenith elevators offer the same range of cab finish options below.

Routed White MDRF

A popular choice is the white routed MDRF cab with optional white ceiling. The finish is a durable satin coat similar to quality kitchen cabinetry.

Luxury MDF Panels

Choose from a selection of gloss or matte onlay panels. Panels are installed onto a black or white melamine backer with matching black or white edge banding. Standard cabs feature a two-panel design, whereas tall cabs (96”) feature a three-panel design. You can also order a matching lux MDF ceiling panel.

Luxury MDF color options including dark wood grain, light oak wood finish, white panel with silver strand texture, and black marble design with white veining.

Raised Hardwood

We offer red oak, maple and cherry hardwood cabs with raised panels. Choose from a selection of satin finish stains and add an optional matching ceiling if desired.

Unfinished Veneer

This simple flat veneer panel design can be stained and coated on-site as desired. It’s offered in oak, cherry, maple and birch with optional matching ceiling.

Melamine

The standard cab comes with a choice of durable flat melamine in a choice of 9 colors. You can add a matching ceiling, or opt for a white ceiling.

Fixtures

A fixture package includes 4 items (cab operating panel, lights fixtures, hand rail and hall call) and you will
need to choose the metal:

Ideas from Owners

Aside from factory finishes, you can also create custom looks locally with your own general contractor. You can order a plywood or unfinished MDF cab if you would prefer to finish your elevator locally. Some owners use wallpaper, mirrors or custom wood panels to finish the cab. Fixtures, gates and doors can still be provided by Savaria.

This Eclipse includes a wallpaper feature wall that adds color and interest as you step inside. When you order unfinished MDF for your cab, it can be wallpapered with ease.
This Eclipse features a cab with custom fluted oak panels (by others). The ceiling light fixtures are customer-supplied as well.
