The Multilift vertical platform lift is a wheelchair lift designed for home use, and basic commercial* needs. Ideal for outdoor applications, the Multilift is often installed for use as a porch or deck lift. The ACME screw drive provides simple, dependable operation for up to a 750 lb capacity. Offered as a standard two-stop design, the lift can also be ordered with a factory-built enclosure.

Durable all-season performance

The Savaria Multilift vertical platform lift operates with continuous press controls, features a non-skid platform and travels up to 48", or optionally up to 72". The attached drive tower houses the motor eliminating the need for a machine room. It is an ideal lift for use with wheelchairs, power chairs and scooters to gain access from the ground level into the home either outside, or when installed in a garage.

Durable design

Known as a workhorse lift, the Multilift is built to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. Powder coated steel with a weather resistant lock, zinc-coated platform and drive mechanism contained in the lift tower, make this lift weather-tough.

Simple install

Residential or commercial use

The Multilift is commonly used for home use, installed outdoors or inside a garage for additional weather protection. In many jurisdictions, the Multilift can also be used in commercial or public buildings. In commercial settings, the lift can be used inside to access raised areas, short mezzanines and changes in levels as a standard lift, or with a factory-built enclosure. Take note that vertical platform lifts cannot penetrate a floor. Enclosure models can be installed with a pit for level entry, or an access ramp when a pit is not feasible.

Safety features

The Multilift includes a back-up nut with safety switch, as well as manual lowering crank for emergency use. The unenclosed model includes an obstacle sensor system that stops the lift if it encounters any obstructions. An emergency stop button is available on the platform control. The top landing gate, and platform gate (if equipped) include an electro-mechanical lock to prevent the gate from being opened unless the lift is available at the landing.

Standard features and finish

A full depth handrail is also included on the platform
Operating panel on-board the lift that includes an emergency stop/alarm button with keyed access
Call stations are included for each landing to summon the lift with keyed access for security purposes
The standard finish is beige powder coat with 42 ⅛" side walls on the platform
The platform gate (when required), or upper landing gate feature standard steel panels*
The Multilift uses continuous pressure operation and features a non-skid, zinc-coated platform in a choice of three standard sizes
The standard unit, without enclosure, includes an automatic access ramp (16" for home use, 24" for commercial use) for the lower landing

*For travel distances above 30" in the USA, 24" in Canada, and all commercial applications, a Savaria top landing gate is required

Additional Options

Battery

Full battery back-up operation can be added to allow the lift to operate several trips up and down during a power failure.

Keyless

The lift can be ordered with keyless operation on the platform and call stations.

Joystick

Joystick or pendant operation can be added to accommodate those with additional mobility issues.

Fixed ramp

A fixed access ramp is also available.

Finishes

Optional powder coat finishes include gloss, semi-gloss and Velvacoat textures in a variety of colors. Over 200 RAL colors are also available at additional cost.

Gates/Doors

You can upgrade the gates to include clear acrylic or glass insert panels. Gates and doors can be upgraded with power operators, including large 60 mm buttons.

Multilift Standard

Open-style without the need for a full shaft or enclosure. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. The standard Multilift typically offers straight-through access, but it can be optionally ordered with 90-degree access for entry/exit.

Multilift Enclosure

For added weather protection, a Multilift with factory-built aluminum enclosure is a great option. There is a range of options for the enclosure including acrylic or glass insert panels, as well as gates and door options. A domed roof with active ventilation system is also available to add. Enclosure models can be ordered with straight-through, 90-degree or a single same-side entry/exit.

Mobile Multilift

For temporary needs, the Multilift mobile model provides up to 4 feet of travel and two stops. The lift can be moved as needed and includes two platform gates and an automatic access ramp. The platform is 36" x 48" with straight-through access. Locking wheels allow the lift to be positioned and stabilized for use. This lift can be used for accessing a stage or for event use.
