No. Savaria home elevators are for residential use only. Savaria makes a specialized commercial accessibility elevator – the Orion model – that can also be installed in residential applications. However, Savaria home elevators, namely the Eclipse, Infinity, Zenith and Vuelift models, cannot be installed in any public buildings, places of worship or commercial spaces. You may have seen a vacuum tube elevator, also called pneumatic. The Vuelift uses a winding drum drive which is known to be very reliable and also very quiet. With the Vuelift, you can opt for a high capacity up to 950 lb, whereas the pneumatic ones are much lower. Vuelift models feature premium clear acrylic, or low-iron silica glass for the ultimate clarity. There are additional benefits of the Vuelift that your local dealer can also explain depending on the model of interest and your home layout. The Vuelift Octagonal is unique in the market with its 8-sided shape.
