Matot Dumbwaiters & Material Lifts
Matot dumbwaiters and material lifts by Savaria make moving things easy.
With a complete range of options, sizes, capacities and loading configurations, vertical material handling systems from Matot, a division of Savaria, combine efficiency, safety, and innovation.
Engineered to last and meet the most stringent code requirements, we manufacture our dumbwaiters and material lifts in the same facilities as the world-renowned Savaria elevators, wheelchair lifts and stairlifts, so you know they’ll be robust and reliable.
Before starting your project, ask yourself these simple questions:
- What do you need to move?
- How much do you need to move at one time?
- How will it be loaded and unloaded?
- How fast does it need to get there?
Our vertical material handling experts can help you spec the best solution for your project.
Dumbwaiters
Compact and cost-effective for smaller loads (100–750 lb), with a maximum platform area of 1560 sq in and maximum car height of 48”. A great solution for applications where space is at a premium. Suitable for both floor-loading and counter-loading applications.
Material Lifts
Ideal for larger cargo (up to 2000 lb), with platform sizes up to 48” w x 90” h with no depth restrictions. Available in floor-loading and counter-loading models, although floor-loading is more common.
VRCs
Unlimited size and capacity for industrial needs and can be interfaced with load/unload conveyors. Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors excel in commercial and industrial applications, but cannot be exposed to, or used by, the general public.
Three Robust Solutions
All three solution types from our Matot line-up offer typical speeds of 50 feet/minute. The ideal flight time between terminal landings is 30-45 seconds or less. Most of our systems use a reliable winding-drum drive system, but we also offer a geared traction drive for higher travel distance applications.
And, we can provide customization for your specific project requirements, including integrating advanced features like automated unloading or conveyor interfaces.
Smarter vertical material handling
With decades of expertise, we deliver solutions that meet the rigorous demands of architects, engineers, and specifiers across a wide spectrum of applications.
