Savaria Announces Exercise of Underwriter's Option for Private Placement

Laval, Quebec, April 9, 2014– Savaria Corporation (“Savaria”) (TSX: SIS), North America’s leader in the accessibility industry, is pleased to announce that due to market demand, Laurentian Bank Securities Inc., the lead underwriter of Savaria’s previously-announced bought-deal private placement of 5,000,000 units at an issue price of $3.25 per unit (the “Offering”), has exercised in full the underwriters’ option to increase the size of the Offering to 5,750,000 units, for gross proceeds to Savaria of $18,687,500.

 

The Offering is expected to close on April 15, 2014 and is subject to standard closing conditions.
